Well, have you ever heard that stress is good for your health? I guess not. Stress in fact can help your mental health, but if the stress is excessive, then it can take a toll on your physical and spiritual well-being. So why does stress exist and why do we get stressed?

If we don’t know where to find ourselves stressed, the answer is quite simple. All of us have negative emotions that we hold dear to our hearts. Whenever we encounter stress, these negative emotions come to the surface and wreak havoc.

If you think you are stress-free, and you still feel a negative emotion inside, then you should think about your feelings. The emotion you have is actually telling you something.

Some people say that no emotion is bad. Some people think that if a person is stressed, the stress is the problem. Why are some people happier than others? Well, I would say that there is nothing to it as long as the person has positive emotions in the right place.

What is meant by positive emotions? These are emotions that we hold dear and will not let go of.

When you have positive emotions, they will tell you to ignore all stressors and go with the flow. You will find yourself going about your everyday life completely unaffected by the stress.

When you have negative emotions like worry, stress, and anxiety, you tend to react to whatever comes into your way and experience high levels of stress. We hold negative emotions closer to our hearts and therefore, we cannot process things like happiness and joy, hence, we try to avoid them.

So, what is the solution? Try to exercise your positive emotions and see the difference it makes. Exercising positive emotions will not only help you in relieving stress, but it will also keep you fit and healthy.

You will find yourself with positive emotions and joyful outlooks when the stressors in your life are not stressors at all but just positives. When you experience joy, you experience less stress, and you feel better, and when you feel better, you have less chance of suffering from any physical and mental diseases like cancer, high blood pressure, etc.

You are the master of your mind, and you control your stress and this is the ultimate challenge. If you wish to reduce your stress, and it is not too much, then do so and live a happy and joyful life.
